In the past when my server was running in COM, I did not see the popup status page. I just noticed two status pages popup whenever the servers are active. Does this matter... and when I click on the STATUS button the popup with the button also goes away. Same behavior if I load servers from the admin page.

Have not tested under file mode.

What do you mean by StatusPage popups? You mean the server instance windows? You should see one for each of the number of servers you have configured. But only if you compiled and run locally - on a production server those windows should not be visible - they're only visible if configured for explicit INTERACTIVE user assignment in DCOM config (for dev purposes). You'd also see them in File Mode when running from Explorer or the command line.
