Hi When I modify a file, West wind does not reflect the modification. It looks like it is cache. I exit and reenter and it still reflects the previously dated file. How do I remedy?

THANKS

Not sure what you mean. What do you mean by modify a file? You mean a topic?

You can save a topic by:

  • Clicking Save (Ctrl-S)
  • Going to another topic

I'm not sure what you mean by caching in this context.

Hi The path that is located at "Editable topic main Body" points to a file I have updated (modified). I close and reopen west wind and it reflects the previous file like it has cached. I'm sorry my IT dept is unavail to help explain.

You can't update the underlying file - edits have to be made inside of the Help Builder Editor - or you edit in an external editor and then paste the result into the editor. The underlying file doesn't contain any content.
