Hi all, My web connection app stopped working yesterday afternoon and upon closer inspection it appears the entry for my app is missing under component services->computers->my computer->dcom config. I tried to run mywebconnectionapp.exe /regserver in an administrator command window but it did not put the entry back. This seems to have happened after a Microsoft update and I am running Windows Server 2016 Standard. Has anyone else seen this or know how to get things working again? Thanks in advance!

Make sure you use 32 bit version of the DCOM Manager.

From the Run box:

MMC comexp.msc /32

To get the server into DCOM configuration it needs to be registered, either by building your project or yourexe /regserver (or publishing using Web Connection's publish tooling which does the same under the hood).
