I'm using the latest version of Markdown Monster. Is there a way to set .jpg as the default option to save a taken screenshot ?, currently when I paste the image from the Clipboard, I need to explicitly change it to jpg to avoid saving it as .png .

You can't change the default at the moment...

PNG is the most common for tech documentation and screen captures and usually the smallest in size for those types of images, so that's why that's the default.

If you type the extension along with the filename (ie. MyFile.jpg) even if the dropdown shows .png as the extension, it will save using that format.
