Are there any sites where one can Download VFP 9 and Service Packs? No longer on Microsoft? (appears to be the case).
They're on GitHub under the VFPX organization:
and here are the service packs and support library installers (also including Html Help Workshop which MS no longer offers as a downlaod):
The latter is especially useful since these files are otherwise hard to collect or get the right versions of.

Thanks Rick - most helpful.
However is there anywhere you can purchase/download the original 9.0 Product? FYI - The Service Pack 1 and 2 patches are available on CNET.

I don't think FoxPro is available anymore for sale. The only way I think you can still legally get it is through an MSDN/Visual Studio subscription which has archived versions.
Other than that scalped versions off EBay (which sucks because they almost certainly are re-licensed).
We should just dump a full version of FoxPro somewhere inconspicious and point people at that 😄

Does anyone know for sure that you can still get it through MSDN?
Like the inconspicuous idea Rick

Also - don't see VFP9 SP1 Runtime Installers on VFPX.

Yeah they are on MSDN:
But you better check and make sure which subscription level is required. I have mine through the MS MVP program so not sure what level down you can get to these downloads.
I've long ago pulled down all the installer files I need to a local store so I have it and don't have to go back.
If you have an old copy - just use that. There are no license keys on the MSDN versions anyway and the runtimes are free.
The only 'legit' reason would be for a customer that needs an actual verified license and for those MSDN is really the only choice left. Looks like Professional is $1200/yr for the first year, $799 for subsequent years, but you'd only need it once.

Yes I have multiple versions backed up. This was more for reassuring clients who are nervous about running their business on VFP with everyone saying that's a dead platform.
Thanks for all your help Rick
Clients probably don't need a full version of VFP anyway - they just need the runtimes.
And as far as FoxPro is Dead: It's as close to dead as it gets without actually being six feet under I think. 😄
