Markdown Monster
Markdown Monster choco upgrade failure
Hi Rick,
Just tried to upgrade my licensed copy of MM via choco and got this:
Downloading markdownmonster
from 'https://github.com/RickStrahl/MarkdownMonsterReleases/raw/master/v1.27/MarkdownMonsterSetup-1.27.7.exe'
Progress: 100% - Completed download of C:\Users\rkaye\AppData\Local\Temp\chocolatey\MarkdownMonster\1.27.7\MarkdownMonsterSetup-1.27.7.exe (18.33 MB).
Download of MarkdownMonsterSetup-1.27.7.exe (18.33 MB) completed.
Error - hashes do not match. Actual value was '4F63729715253B3F84990180478F6DB8420DFB36A2ED026C3791EC48757AC3D4'.
ERROR: Checksum for '...\AppData\Local\Temp\chocolatey\MarkdownMonster\1.27.7\MarkdownMonsterSetup-1.27.7.exe' did not meet '961D24EDBE6F9E690FD61E9A6002AF0219AEDB205FE4A45A5D0B4310986DC5A7' for checksum type 'sha256'. Consider passing the actual checksums through with --checksum --checksum64 once you validate the checksums are appropriate. A less secure option is to pass --ignore-checksums if necessary.
The upgrade of markdownmonster was NOT successful.
Error while running 'C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\lib\MarkdownMonster\tools\chocolateyInstall.ps1'.
See log for details.
hmmm... interesting. I can duplicate...
Not quite sure how this could happen since Chocolatey checks the packages for validity.
I'm creating a new package. Should be up soon...
