I was evaluating markdown monster for editing and I noticed that responses to mouse clicks are "slow". Especially in the file browser. With slow I mean it takes enough time for something to happen that I start thinking it missed my click. Also the menu fades between right clicks on different items just "stutter". I'm on an core i7 8GB ram and running VS2019 IDE without issue. Surely your editor (which otherwise seems to work fine) should be able to run fine to.

I have not made a github issue as this experience might be very subjective and hardware/software dependent. Maybe there are some tips? Or experience to deal with this?

I don't have the lag experience and I run MM on 3 different machines, one of which is a pretty low end laptop.

I do see the occasional 'flutter' you describe which can occur on the first click in an editor, but it's not consistent. It's a known issue, but I've not been able to track that down. I think what happens is that the context menu opens twice somehow detecting a double right click on a single click. Seems to be more prevalent with a spell checking right click especially.

File an issue and lets see if others see something similar, but just know that for the moment I don't have a solution for even the known occasional flutter.
