Hi Thierry,
erreur n° 1705 ("Accès au fichier refusé c:\...\dossiers\5vc0gal4f\temp\memo.ini") à la ligne n° 9
I saw that I had 5 instances of my application declared in wc.ini.
1 - Shouldn't the value be a multiple of 2 ?
2 - Does the number of servers affect the above error ?
Hi Vincent,
My experience:
Yes the number of servers 'instances affect quantity of thoses errors. Less you have servers 'instances, less you have thoses types of errors.
Example:
For CTB, I have change the number of instances: 8 for 4 and thoses errors are more less. Now i have only 1 error for 10 000 http requests.
Cordialement,
Gilles
Thanks Gilles ! And should we prefer an even number ?
Bien cordialement
In general, 'File access is denied' happens because the file is locked by another process which may be: another FoxinCloud App Server, an anti-virus, windows explorer, whatever.
- it does not matter whether the number of servers is even or odd
- it depends on the instruction where this error occurs. If it happens in a master page and user hits F5 to reload the page, 2 FoxinCloud servers can attempt to open the file concurrently.
Solving such an error requires the full context where it happens: source code, URL, sequence of user actions. Generic answer simply don't exist.
