Hi Rick,

I've got a couple of co-workers with their own licenses that run WWHB via RDP sessions. The source project info lives on a network share which is access via a mapped drive. Both of these users are having a hard time bringing up the docked preview window, and in at least one case, the link to show in an external browser also fails to bring up the external browser. One RDP session is in a W7 VM and the other is in a W10 VM. Any thoughts on how to figure out what's going on?

Not sure what would cause that. Double checked just to make sure, and I can log on to my server and run Help Builder and see the preview no problem.

Is the editor working? What exactly happens? Does the window come up but there's no content or is the window completely missing?

You might want to play around with the always on top setting. Possible that that forces perhaps to an inactive desktop?

The editor works fine. I think for one user toggling the browser lock setting a few times made it work as expected but on the other system, I haven't been able to figure out the magic trick. I'll see if restarting that VM will make a difference.

OK. I believe I figured it out. It doesn't like UNCs. As long as a drive is mapped, the previews work.

Yes I think UNC paths aren't compatible with file:// based urls plus there's a potential Windows Zone security issue.
