Hi Rick, Can you clear up some jQuery file download confusion I am having, lol? It seems I have a whole slew of jQuery file references and every one of them seems like a different version.

Do each of these files not correspond with 1 version number?
Where/How do you update the latest jQuery files?
Are they backwards compatible?

I also use ww.JQuery.js Version 1.29 updated 2/12/2020

Is this the latest version?
What version of jQuery is recommended to go along with your version?

Thanks!
Craig

The West Wind Tools have a built-in copy of jQuery that works with it. You can check that version in the project (I don't recall off hand what it is).

That said the latest ww.jquery.js does work with the latest versions of jQuery which is 3.4 or 5 by now I believe, so fi you're just using the client library (which is preferrable anyway at this point) then you can use whatever the latest is.

You should ensure that a single version of jQuery is used - and I recommend you explicitly specify it rather than letting the controls load it if you're using the server controls.
