When I run setup.exe, I get 2 error messages: Variable 'LCVERSION' is not found Variable 'LCINSTALLER' is not found

If I ignore, it seems to complete.

Hmmm... that's odd. I'm checking it again here and I don't see any errors.

Where are you seeing it? On startup? What server? Using default options or changing?

Can anybody else confirm what Marty is seeing?

I installed in a new directory C:\wc710. Then I clicked setup.exe. That's when I got the errors.

I clicked 'ignore' a couple of times, then the installation completed.

It seems to be working fine. - I got the live update function working with Express. Looks great. I'm lovin' it!

Ok, so I took a closer look and it's related to the VIsual Studio Addin configuration. My guess is you don't have any version of Visual Studio installed and so that was causing issues that I don't see here.

I've adjusted the code so that shouldn't happen any longer...

Could you do me a favor and update your console.exe either by reinstalling (I've updated the full registration download) or by grabbing https://west-wind.com/files/WebConnectionExperimental.zip (contains just console.exe). Re-running setup won't hurt anything on your setup.

Thanks for posting - that error I would have never triggered in my own testing - that's very old code and it's probably been a problem for a while.
