I notice that the videos are all for version 6, any plans to update any of them?

Since it's more than a year since I worked with WWC the last time, I need a way refresh my memory. Not all (my memory..) is lost, but since I am about to start a brand new project, I want to do it in the most efficient way. Watching the "getting started" is usually my preferred solution.

Plans - sure... Actual updates not so much 😃

I say this every year that I want to update these videos, but it takes a ton of time (and a quiet house) even for the simple ones so I always end up pushing it off.

Maybe this year after SW Fox I can get myself to create a few short specific feature videos rather than the do everything demo.

Sounds fine. I think short specific videos are much better than the long ones.

Are you planning to do the demos at SW Fox this year?

If yes, what if we tried to record you? Then in post production, edit and do a voice over based on written script.

I game if you are??

Im pretty sure that you have to ask the organizers of the conference about this.

No I'm not doing any direct demos this year. There will be a regular Web Connection session regarding Deploying Web Connection applications, but no dog and pony show this year. I might show a few of the new features in passing (mainly the cool Live Reload functionality).

And as to Video, having a live video with a person and a screen is pretty sucky I think. It's much better to have a clean screen capture session for videos. Much better to see what's going on and usually much more focused.

It's not a big thing but it's very time consuming and it requires a quiet room and no interruptions which seems to be my biggest problem these days.

If you need a quite basement with all sorts of A/V equipment, I can offer that but the no interruptions is another thing all together... 😃
