I am trying to get the 'Web Connection 7.0 Server Working'

I downloaded the limited 'IISEXPRESS'

I manged to install the and run 'wcdemomain.prg' and see the 'West Wind Web Connection' FORM was showing responces, so the 'IISEXPRESS' appears to be installed correctly.

I created a 'webstest' progject as shown in the 'Getting Started' video.

I ran the 'webtestmain.prg' and when I select 'Browse Site', I get a 'blank' Web 'Screen'

DO console WITH "IISEXPRESS" shows a port of 8080

DO console WITH "LAUNCHIISEXPRESS","c:\westwind\wconnect",8080 does open the 'local Web Site' but if I select something it crashed

From within 'webtestmain.prg' it must be telling the program where to configure the web page.

The Webtest.ini is NOT much help.

The question is how do I get 'webtestmain.prg' to get the the 'West Wind Web Connection' FORM to show responces for the webstest project ???

When I run 'webtestmain.prg' a FORM opens that Say 'West Wind Web Connection' on the top and then something about 'Shareware'. I am very much under the impression tha I installed the program using the 'Zip Password:' ...

There is a trick and I have NOT been able to find it.

Did you try to create a new project and run DO LAUNCH WITH .T. to start the project? That's the easiest way to make this work as it has all the settings configured.

The videos are pretty old and haven't been updated for Web Connection 7.0. Better to use the walk throughs in the documentation:
