In order to use wwSFTP, do I need to first install .Net? I'm just doing a simple file upload and download.

Yes you need to have .NET installed, although you may not have to install anything.

If you're on Windows 8.1 or 10 you don't need to install anything. Otherwise you may need to install the latest version of .NET. If your machine has been running for a while you most likely have it installed as many application that rely on .NET probably have installed .NET at some point.

You can test by running wwDotnetBridge with:

DO wwDotnetBridge
loBridge = GetwwDotnetBridge()
? loBridge.GetDotnetVersion()

If that doesn't work you likely need to install or update to .NET.

wwSFTP will not work on XP or Vista as it requires .NET 4.5 which don't work on those platforms.
