Hello, try to setup Web Connection with a WAMP server setup and it seems that
- Setup ask me 2x the apache server location
- The webfile path is not editable so the HTML samples (htdocs ) are installed in the apache directory
- The nph-wc.exe is missing ( but the message comes later ( than with the 6.17 )
- And here is the localhost/wconnect/ reply ...
Hmmm... odd. The code is in there but I don't see the error when I run it. I removed the references to those obsolete files IAC for next release.
For now you can just ignore the error and continue - that file is not actually used for anything it's a legacy CGI file.

I continue but it seems there are other issues, Apache don't come up after shutdonwn ( I am a newbie with Apache so I have to reinstall the whole thing .. )
If you are a newbie to Apache, why are you using it? Apache is only somehwhat supported with Web Connection and you need to be able to deal with configuration and server management on your own (beyond the simple setup routines we provide).
On Windows IIS is a much better - and more secure - choice for running a Web Server on Windows as Web Connection is specifically designed for it. Unless you have a very specific reason to run Apache (other than some dated MS/IIS stigma) you really shouldn't go down this path as it limits what you can do with Web Connection to some degree.
The Web Connection Apache configuration adds only a couple of settings to the end of the http.conf
file - those should work as is unless you changed and chose invalid paths during setup. You do have to restart Apache after making configuration changes. But even invalid config settings should not lock up Apache on a restart. Note you can start Apache from the command line and it should tell you of any configuration errors at startup.

Apache was installed by the WAMP server ( http://www.wampserver.com/en/ ) and we try 2x the installation
The main reason was that we wanted to test Magento and PrestaShop running on the same server than Web Connection it was a bad idea for the reason you pointed out Web Connection is designed for Windows and Magento / Prestashop are designed for Linux
The build I used (and I'm as ignorant as the next guy when it comes to Apache) is from ApacheHaus.
Make sure you're using Apache 2.4, or if you're running 2.2 you use the other module. It's possible if you use the wrong module that it might lock Apache.
