A special treat this month: Greg Green has contributed a class to VFPx which allows us to read and write sophisticated spreadsheets to the latest versions of Excel. I'm sure that you, like many VFP developers, have faced the frustration of your FoxPro applications only being able to read and write to the ancient XLS file format - well, Greg's tool brings you right up to date!
Greg Green developed the XLSXWorkbook class in VFP which allows reading and creating XLSX based files. The class is developed in 100% VFP code with no other file dependencies (this is a goal of the class).
