One question about the site that comes from poking around for a while; It appears that at the bottom-right of your (new) pages one would find the link that takes you to west-wind.com. Is there another that might be more visible I may have overlooked?
Oh, about that blog regarding the large 43" monitor you posted some time back? I had recently purchased one of my own (Philips BDM4350uc) and wanted to compare models. I wasn't able to find the blog via your Search function and thought you ought to know in case this was unintended. I replaced four Asus VS229 monitors - nice. a LOT more desk space now.
And, to answer the one question; I find myself at 125% being the most comfortable for now. I measured the distance I typically sit from the monitor at ~32-34 inches. What I really like is that I can run both my laptop and desktop at the same time but I do not like the layout options so I just switch back in forth, which is a pain in the butt with the switch location. Makes sense I suppose from a TV-based point of view; not so much for a developer. I had hoped Philips' Smart Control software might allow for this.

Which site are you referring to? The West Wind home page? Or this site?
I've been slowly upgrading some of my ancient sites to a somewhat more modern look, but it's slow going because there's so much crap in there. The original West Wind site hasn't changed drastically in over 10 years. Lots of stuff over time has migrated to their own sites which is big improvement as it removes a lot of clutter that has been accumulating, but getting rid of stuff is hard because I can't even tell what's linked to where in this morass 😃
I've also updated FoxCentral in the process along with a new page to submit so the Web service isn't a requirement anymore. Ugh - all things that I shouldn't be wasting my time on but... 😃
