Hi all,

I've released West Wind Web Connection 6.10 today and you can pick it up from the download page:

or from the email link sent to you if you are a registered user.

There's lots of new stuff and a number of bug fixes and performance tweaks in this release. It's been a while and so some of the features have been piling up.

To see all that's new check out these links:

Rick,

I just installed v6.10 from your email blast with password and it is showing to be a shareware version.

The version from last night should be 6.12 not 6.10?

Just checked by installed the version from the download link and it's not the shareware version. Make sure you're using the right file, and if you are installing ontop of a shareware install you follow these instructions in the help file:

You are correct. I installed 6.12 dated 5/30/2017.

I ran \wconnect\wcdemomain.prg to test the install and the app showed v6.0 as a shareware.

Maybe that should be disregarded. I'll install all my apps on that system and check it.

Thanks

I don't see that with a clean install, so you probably have something old floating around. If you want to be sure, nuke the wconnect folder (if you don't have anything of your own in there 😃) and then install.

It sounds like you're running some compiled code that has the shareware flag compiled into it (wconnect.app from shareware? Make sure you follow the steps in the links I posted if you're not nuking the folder).
