What is the future for West Wind HTML Help builder? Will there be a new major release? If so, are you open for feature requests?

Not in the near future.

I started a project to replace Help Builder with a more modern version based on the Markdown Monster codebase, but I've not had enough time to make serious headway with that. The idea is to replace with a more modern application. For the time being Help Builder will continue on to receive bug fixes, and within reason some new features.
