I'm installing VFP on a new Windows installation and got this error: ERRORLOG EVENT : DepCheck indicates Setup Runtime Files is not installed.

I ran as administrator.

Any suggestions?

That looks like you're either running the wrong file. The pre-requisites installer should automatically launch when you run Setup.exe. There should be a vs_setup.msi in the same folder that should launch the pre-requisite install. Based on your message I'd think that's not there.

I had forgotten that the setup must be done from CD or C: drive. I was tying to do it from a NAS where I keep those files. My bad.
