I currently use dokuwiki to maintain a searchable and structured personal notepad. I am really interested in replacing that with simple text files and Markup Monster but I'd like to be able to quickly find a document within a directory tree by searching for text. Is there any "search for text in directory tree" functionality?

Not currently - but there's an issue on Github here that you can chime in on.

Feature request: Extended search and replace

I started work on this in the last few days, but this feature will take a bit to be fleshed out.

In the meantime you perhaps shell out and open in another editor to do the search/replace/find functionality or if you use a a tool like Command/Xplorer2 the search features will let you find files.

Do comment on the Github issue for feedback and to push this to the top of the priority stack.

Thanks,
