The cursor position is approximately 3 spaces ahead of where the actually typing is occurring. This makes it a little frustrating when typing and writing.

Make sure you are using a fixed width font like Consolas.

Proportional fonts are not supported in the editor.

Unfortunately Calibri is a proportional font (ie. each character has a different size) and that's not supported. You need to use a fixed-width font.

Fixed width is also known as mono-spaced.
