Hi,

I am using WW Client Tools to email to the server Smtp.office365.com (port 587).

VM Server 2016

Connection security (according to the customer): STARTTLS

Using wwSmtp, I specify loSmtp.nMailMode = 0 && .NET Mode required.
But I get the error: Unable to load wwDotNetBridge: unable to load Clr Instance: 0x80131515

(If I specify loSmtp.nMailMode = 2, then I get error "504.5.7.4 Unrecognized authentication type).

What am I missing or how could I resolve the above error (the wwDotNetBridge error)?

TIA

UPDATE: Found this link: https://west-wind.com/wconnect/weblog/ShowEntry.blog?id=897&id=897

and verified that the wwDotNetBridge.dll is not blocked.
And, unfortunately, Loading Assemblies from Network Locations link is dead.

UPDATE 2: Checked the version of .NET installed on the customer server. And it is 4.6.2.

More info on that error here:

Could be several other things besides blocked DLL.

Thank you for your reply.
As I mentioned on UT, the dll is not blocked. The only different message I get when I created the myapp.exe.config (content the same as on your page), the error message:

No idea what that error message means - it's specific to your mail server.

The error is coming from the server, and it looks like the server is denying your message. Either authentication failed or your content is not being allowed.

Either way search online for the error message and see what the server is complaining about.
