If I want a designer to be able to drop html templates into my webconnect 5.x html directory for testing, is there a setting that will allow WC to detect the html revision by date, build it into the _page.prg, and display it in response to new hits?

I presume I would need to use a specific 'script mode' and 'page parse mode' for this to work?

I would also have to make sure the _page.prg file is excluded from the project definition, of course...

I think you'll want to set nPageParseMode - setting of 2 to force recompilation even in runtime environment.

I don't remember all the details but that should work even in a deployed application.
