One of my customers has been using Web Connection with Apache for a very long time. They are not going to switch to IIS but they are switching to Apache 2.4. For this customer, I really don’t want to rebuild the app for IIS (for a variety of reasons). I thought that upgrading to 6.18 or 6.19 would do the trick, but Apache 2.4 will still not load the new version of mod_webconnection_isapi.so (says it is not a valid Win32 program). Any thoughts?
That should work. I added Apache 2.4 support for 6.18 and I use that combination here for testing, so I know that works. This was also built for a production system of a customer who has a fairly large app running on top of 2.4 (now), so pretty sure there is no problem with the DLL.
I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you, but I'd check and make sure the DLL is unblocked and there isn't some other authentication or AV issue. You also have to run Apache 32 bit not 64 bit, since the DLL is 32 bit.

Any more info on this? Did you ever figure this out? Web Connection 6.18 and later should definitely work with Apache 2.4+...
