In IE 11, I have a simple grid. I initially used a dbf as the data source, but the actual VFP record pointer was always 10-15 records behind the highlighted record in the grid. I changed to a view, and have anew problem: the grid inserts and extra column for no apparent reason. The gris dbf and XML are perfect. They should 7 columns, which come out fine in Firefox:

However in IE, running exact same app with same data, you get a mysterious third column:

Here is what I have done:

  1. deleted all temp files
  2. Opened the grid*_ini.dbf and verified it is correct
  3. Viewed *grd1.xml and confirmed it is correct.
  4. Suspended while the form is running and inspecting the grid's properties. All the controlsource props are correctly set.

I suspect an awgrid and IE 11 issue perhaps?

There could be some difference between FF and IE11, however I don't see how IE could invent some columns from scratch.

Surprisingly in IE 'Debit/credit' is replaced by some underlying code '1/2' -- anything to look at?
