Something has stopped working and changes made to the WCSX file will not update to the .prg file. Created a new project and new WCSX and still can not get new file

Any suggestions as to what I have broken?

What changed?

What's the error or how is the file not parsed right?

I loaded Ver 5.57 the other day to use JSON on a totally different project. That all worked fine.

I needed to update a couple of bits on a web site. Made the alterations and did a rebuild of the site and the changes did not appear in the .prg file.

When I do the build it gives the following error: Error 6 Error parsing attribute 'generatedsourcefile': Type 'System.Web.UI.Page' does not have a public property named 'generatedsourcefile'. C:\inetpub\wwwroot\btsdotnet\Test.wcsx 15

Web site runs fine but no changes.

Ah you're talking about the Visual Studio errors - those will happen because the editor is an ASP.NET editor and Web Connection uses non-standard tags. We do add a custom scheme to Visual Studio to support them but it looks like VS 2015 and later no longer use the custom schema.

Ignore any schema related errors you see in Visual Studio. In fact I would suggest collapsing the error panel altogether and only accessing it when you need something specific (which for Web Connection I can't think of what that might be).
