Anyone here have experience in doing this? We are worried about 64bit compatability and in general migrating from a plain 2008 to a 2008r2/2012r2. If 64bit is a problem we think we can get our hands on a 2008r2.

Web Connection runs fine on a 64 bit server - I run on Windows Server 2012 R2 and have no issues. All versions of Windows other than the headless versions (Nano and Server Core) support a 32 bit subsystem that allow them to run 32 bit applications and there never really has been any issue with that.

You're good to go...

well perhaps "good to go" , but how do we install WWC we have? It is version 5.0.3 (yes, app has been running for 8 years). Also, I take it we need to find a VFP installation disk?

You should just be able to move the application over and reconfigure the Web Server. It's not automatic, but same steps that were used to configure the app on the old machine.

If you need help there's always support.

so no re-install of WWC needed? that would be great.

No you shouldn't need a re-install. All the binaries should be compiled in your EXE and you have all your Web files. Only if you plan on changing the application will you need to have Web Connection actually installed.
