Why would FiC Studio install want a reboot? What files could be in use?
Which version? Some 2.23 betas required a reboot because fonts were not properly installed
All 2.23 versions including final. I cannot have to reboot my pc, any way around it?
I want to try rolling back, but fic uninstall chokes on that font file. Then when I run the install I get a big form popping up displaying "1:". What does that mean?
P.S. I do not know why FiC needs to access my registry, requiring me to always run studio as administrator.
Installs should copy files only and create shortcuts.

Not sure which item you refer to.
- All versions of install and uninstall from 2.21.1 final forward require reboot. This is a difficulty.
- Still have to run FAS as administrator, if not then on compiles get error cannot access registry from FiC.

This was discussed months ago, fonts not properly installed required a reboot, users now say this is gone, you say the opposite, can you provide some screenshot to help us figure out what happens?

VFP issue when compiling an OLEpublic class: VFP always (re-)registers the COM object instead of checking whether it's already registered first.
Registering the COM object once is enough.
Less an issue in dev as you mostly use file mode.
I can compile OLE public without needing to run VFP as administrator. The registry access error if not an administrator is relativly new,
