For joy for joy... trying to see what Google free hosting service FireBase can do for a VueJS app I created. Now deploying Functions to FireBase that will create a REST API (Functions are not free after several million a month but I will never get to that level with this app).
Anyway a tool that is being recommended for testing API calls is Postman.com. Seems harmless enough but always wonder about new downloads that execute code on my machine. It seems to be a popular tool that does a lot of what WebSurge offers, maybe I should just stick to tools that I trust...
Wondering if anyone is messaging around with either of these things? Both have nothing to do with Foxpro except for the fact that is this works for me, it means I don't have to build my REST server in Web Connect. 😦

You can also use West Wind WebSurge instead of Postman. I think it's a much more streamlined alternative to work with for API testing (and load testing) than Postman - but I might be biased 😄

Yea, I just have to figure out how to get it into main stream development, what I mean... when I search for a tool that describes FireBase REST API the demo is using Postman so I can click and follow along with the instructions.
But I believe you know what you are talking about so I will try to translate the Postman instructions into WebSurge. It just adds a bit more to the learning curve...
Thank you for your opinion.
